serendipity.

After a successful 10-year editorial career specializing in launching, redesigning, and editing urban, style-driven magazines, Erinn left her downtown Manhattan digs in search of higher ground (elev. 6670 to be exact) and outdoor adventure after September 11th, 2001. A two-year-long trek through the back roads and mountain towns of America launched a freelance writing career and led her to Durango, CO, where she now calls the San Juan Mountains home.

Her writing specialties include adventure travel, outdoor sports, fitness, health, natural living, sustainability, and style. Erinn also writes regularly about sports eyewear, retailing, and fashion for Eyecare Business, an award-winning industry publication, and produces special fashion eyewear supplements that have appeared in Vogue, Elle, GQ, and InStyle. She is also a contributing editor to RENO magazine, covering everything from outdoor adventure to new gear and coordinating photo shoots with some of Reno/Tahoe’s best professional athletes.

When in NYC, Erinn was the editor-in-chief of 20/20 magazine and, subsequently, a special projects editor at Playboy. There, she worked as the editor on the prototype of a young, urban lifestyle magazine called The Zone. She left to become the founding editor and editor-in-chief of the award-winning SoHo Style magazine, which covered the culture and style of downtown New York and its reach around the world.

She lives in Durango, CO with her photographer husband and two growing cactuses.
